In high-performance powersports, credibility is everything. Riders demand products that are lighter, stronger, and tougher—and they expect those claims to be proven, not promised. As the UTV / Side-by-Side market continues to mature, advancing rapidly toward automotive-level engineering and execution, the bar for performance and trust has never been higher.
DAVY Powersports was created to meet that moment. As a new brand born from DAVY Industries and its advanced aerospace-grade alloy development, the challenge was clear: translate deep material innovation into a first product that could earn immediate credibility in one of the most demanding off-road environments.
Play&Co partnered with DAVY from inception to help define and deliver a complete system—spanning brand strategy, product identity, engineering alignment, development and validation, art direction, and digital execution. Starting with forged wheels as the inaugural product, we helped DAVY turn material science into measurable performance, and performance into belief—setting a new benchmark for strength-to-weight in the category.

Material was removed wherever possible, sections were optimized for strength and stiffness, and the raw finish was retained to eliminate unnecessary coating weight.
The restrained geometry reflects that discipline, delivering ~20% weight reduction, up to +83% greater impact strength, and 289% higher cumulative impact force versus the leading competitor.

From material science and forging through FEA simulation, lab impact testing, and real-world validation, production readiness was engineered into the program. Working alongside an industry-leading manufacturing partner, development rigor became part of the brand story, making validation visible and credibility measurable.

Modular and plastic-free, the packaging system is both curbside recyclable and adaptable across the full wheel range. Built to protect and scale, it is an extension of the brand’s technical discipline.

Shot across desert, dunes, and forest landscapes in Oregon, the launch campaign positioned Davy in its natural habitat, pairing technical credibility with the freedom and emotion that define UTV culture.
Play&Co led art direction and end-to-end production, from location scouting and vehicle preparation to managing crew and overseeing post-production, ensuring every asset reflected the brand’s performance-driven ethos.
