John holds several significant roles, including serving as a director of the esteemed Australian Product Stewardship Centre of Excellence. Additionally, he acts as an adjunct professor affiliated with the Institute for Sustainable Futures at UTS and is a co-founder of the renowned Ewaste Watch Institute.

Notably, John's expertise and dedication have earned him a membership in the esteemed Minister Plibersek's Advisory Group on the Circular Economy, recently established by the Australian Government.
